கடிதம்-4

J Krishnamurthy என் ஆதர்சங்களில் ஒருவர். அவரது எளிமையான எழுத்துக்கள் என்னை வசீகரிக்கும் நீண்ட நாள் ஆச்சரியங்கள். அவரின் Sri Lanka Talks ம் Letters to Schools ம் என் புத்தக சேமிப்பில் பொக்கிஷம் என்றே சொல்லுவேன்

கிருஷ்ணமூர்த்தி தான் தொடங்கிய பள்ளியின் மாணவர்களுக்கு எழுதிய கடிதங்களின் தொகுதி.

முன்னுரை பாருங்கள்:

இந்தக் கடிதங்கள் நீங்கள் ஆயாசமாக் இருக்கும் போது படிப்பதற்கல்ல; இவற்றை நான் சிரத்தையுடன் எழுதினதைப் போலவே, சிரத்தையுடன் படியுங்கள். ஒரு பூவை அதன் இதழ், வர்ணம், மணம் கூடிய அழகை பார்த்துப் பயிலுவது போல இந்தக் கடிதங்களையும் பயிலுங்கள்

ஜனவரி 15 1982ல் எழுதப்பட்ட கடிதம் :

I think it is important to learn the art of thinking together. The scientists and the most uneducated human beings think. They think according to their profession, specialization and according to their belief and experience. We all think objectively or according to our own particular inclination, but we never seem to think together, to observe together. We may think about something, a particular problem or experience but this thinking does not go beyond its own limitation.

I am in stream with that which is godness, compassion and intelligence. That intelligence is acting, confronting the madness of the present world. That intelligence will be acting where the ugly is
